A Day’s Book is an online collective diary that invites children to collaborate and share stories about their daily lives. At the start of each day, a blank book will be uploaded for anyone who wishes to add an entry. They can write down their thoughts, doodle, or just leave a scribble or two. This book will be archived at the end of the day in a virtual library. As the exhibition continues, this virtual library will expand and overflow with the colourful expressions and experiences of children from all walks of life.
Joyce Ho (b. 1983, Taiwan) loves to create art about everyday life and objects. She uses painting, sculpture, installation, performance, and video to transform people’s perceptions of ordinary things, turning them into something magical and special. Her artworks draw attention to details that are easily overlooked, be they in ordinary objects, familiar situations or daily routines.
